Choosing a 2-Person Sauna

A 2-person sauna is the most popular size for a home cabin: it comfortably seats two adults on facing or L-shaped benches, fits in a bedroom, basement or bathroom corner, and costs less to run than a larger cabin. Indoor Infrared 2-Person Models

Most of our 2-person saunas are indoor infrared cabins from Dynamic, Golden Designs, HeatWave and Maxxus, priced from around $1,900 to $4,500. Heater technology varies by model: Low EMF, Ultra Low EMF and Near Zero EMF carbon or ceramic panels, and several full spectrum models that add near- and mid-infrared heaters. Cabin material is typically hemlock or cedar — check the individual product page for the exact wood.

Exact interior dimensions vary by brand and model — check the product page's Interior Dimensions spec before you buy, since a "2-person" cabin can range from a snug corner unit to a full bench-length design. Most indoor infrared 2-person saunas run on a standard 120V household outlet; larger or higher-wattage models may need a dedicated 240V circuit, noted on the product's Electrical Requirements spec.
