Other collections under Traditional Saunas

Outdoor traditional saunas with an electric heater and stones, built for the backyard. Compare 33 models from Golden Designs, Enlighten and Aleko for 2 to 8 people.
View collectionAn indoor traditional sauna heats the cabin air with an electric heater and a layer of stones, so you sit in dry, hot air rather than in front of infrared panels. If you are still choosing a type, our infrared vs traditional comparison covers temperatures, heat-up time and running cost, and the main Traditional Saunas page lists every traditional model, indoor and outdoor.
This collection has 24 models, from about $3,600 to about $10,900. The lower end is Sunray (Baldwin 2 person, Southport 3 person, Tiburon 4 person) and Miracle hot-rock cabins. Aleko offers 4 and 6 person hemlock wet/dry models with 4.5 to 6 kW heaters. Golden Designs (Sundsvall, Copenhagen, Andermatt, Osla) sits in the middle and upper range, and Enlighten SunRise and Moonlight cedar saunas, including corner 4C versions, are at the top. Browse the Sunray, Enlighten and Aleko pages for each brand's full range.
Person ratings run from 2 to 6. Heater sizes listed in product names range from 3 kW (Sunray Baldwin) to 6 kW (Aleko 6 person). Larger heaters usually need a dedicated circuit, so check each product page and have an electrician confirm your panel before ordering. Our sauna size guide helps match capacity to your room, and the Electric Sauna Heaters collection is useful if you plan to compare heater options.
Product names show hemlock (Sunray, Aleko) and cedar (Enlighten). Hemlock is a lighter wood; cedar is the classic choice for aroma and grain. Aleko models are listed as wet/dry, meaning you can pour water over the stones, while Enlighten models are listed as dry traditional.
