Hybrid Saunas

What is a hybrid sauna?

A hybrid sauna puts two heat sources in one cabin: infrared heater panels, as in an infrared sauna, and a traditional sauna heater with stones, as in a traditional sauna. You can run a gentler infrared session, a hot traditional session with steam from the stones, or both together.

Who is a hybrid sauna for?

A hybrid makes sense when people in the same household prefer different kinds of heat, or when you can't decide between infrared and traditional and only have space and budget for one cabin. If you already know which you prefer, a single-type sauna is usually less expensive. Our infrared vs traditional sauna guide explains the differences.

Enlighten Diamond and Sapphire

Enlighten Diamond and Sapphire hybrids are outdoor saunas for 2 to 5 people, with 7 to 12 heaters depending on size, and a choice of peak or slope roofs. The 4C "Duet" models are corner designs that save floor space.

Golden Designs

Golden Designs hybrids range from the 2-person Nora to 4-6 person models such as the Karlstad and Kaskinen. The Kaskinen and Loviisa are also available as outdoor hybrid saunas. Check each product page for indoor or outdoor use.

• Size: models here seat 2 to 6 people. The Capacity filter above narrows the list.
• Budget: prices run from about $7,800 for a 3-person Golden Designs Carinthia to about $21,600 for the 6-person Kaskinen outdoor hybrid.
