Design and fit
The Venice is built from reforested Canadian hemlock with a honey dark stain. Its bronze-tinted glass door and side windows are the main draw: the cabin feels bright and open, while the tint keeps it from being fully on display. Exterior accent lights along the top add a warm glow to the room, even when the sauna is off.
Plan for about 50 by 46 inches of floor space plus room for the door to swing. At 77 inches tall, it's a couple of inches taller than some 2-person models, so measure if you have a low basement ceiling.
Heating
Six carbon heaters are placed around the bench: two on the back wall, one on each side wall, one under the bench and one in the floor. The bench and floor panels use less power than the wall panels, so most of the warmth comes from the walls, with the lower panels keeping your legs and feet warm. The manufacturer lists 118°F to 132°F as the typical range and 140°F as the maximum.
Dynamic's owner's manual says its saunas usually take about 20 to 30 minutes to preheat to around 118°F, and longer in a cold room. The exterior control panel lets you start the warm-up before you step in. The heaters are rated low EMF at 5 to 10 mG. Controls, lighting and sound
- Dual control panels. Set time and temperature from inside or outside the cabin.
- Chromotherapy and red light. A ceiling color light controlled with a remote from inside, plus a red light feature. Enjoy them as mood lighting.
- Bluetooth and aux. Stream music from your phone or plug in with the aux cable. One device can connect over Bluetooth at a time.
Power, delivery and assembly
The Venice plugs into a standard 120V, 15A outlet. The manufacturer recommends a dedicated outlet and says not to use a GFCI outlet, extension cord, surge protector or plug adapter. It ships in three cartons and the panels clasp together. With a 375 lb cabin, plan on two people for assembly. Warranty
The Venice carries a 5-year limited warranty from the manufacturer. According to the owner's manual, it covers the wood, structure, heating elements and electronics against defects for 1 to 5 years depending on the part. It covers parts but not labor, applies to the original buyer at the original install site, and is void if the sauna is used outdoors.
